We have had the pleasure of living in our new home for several months now and want to take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent job you did as our General Contractor for the project.

There are so many different aspects involved in completing a project of this magnitude that it is difficult to comment on all of them.  Some of the more important ones are:

Your communication with us during the nine month construction was excellent. We especially appreciated the weekly status meetings, keeping us appraised of progress and to ensure that we were making the multitude of selections in a timely manner in order to keep the project on schedule.

The subcontractor team you put together was excellent.  You stated at the beginning that many of our subs would become like family and indeed we became very fond of them.  They demonstrated great pride in the work they performed and offered many good suggestions along the way which helped in our decision making.  They were reliable and on the job whenever you needed them.

The house was completed on schedule and below budget.

Most of all, the result was outstanding!  We continue to receive complements on both the design of the house and the excellent workmanship of its construction.

It has been a pleasure working with you and we feel we’ve made a good friend for life.  Please feel free to include us as a reference for any prospective clients.

Dear Rush,

Here we sit in our cozy new home counting our blessings. Life was a blur for us for almost nine months. We have looked at our pictures of the construction and followed the progress from the day after Thanksgiving 2007 to September 2008. I know that we haven’t adequately thanked you for guiding the subs and bolstering the worrisome owners so that a truly custom home could be built.

We have had many visitors since September and they all comment on the high quality of workmanship. This was no accident, as we know. The finished product was the result of YOUR efforts to make this such a beautiful livable custom home. Your ability to keep us and the subs on task is a real talent. Thank you for your patience and your attention to detail.

JC and I want to thank you both so much for everything you have done for us. Hum, where do we begin with all the things you have done for us. We thank you for our beautiful home Rush. We thank you for all of the cleaning you did for us Tara. We thank you for the marigolds you sat on our front porch, and for the bouquet of roses you brought over for the house showing for the contractors. We also thank you both for your kindness when we left in such a hurry when my mother got sick. We also thank you for the beautiful poinsettia plant that we came home to. That poinsettia is still just growing like mad and I am hoping I can keep it growing for ever. It can be done. I am just not sure I can do it.

So, even though this thank you note is late in coming we want you both to know how very much we appreciate everything you have done for us and all of your kindness

Dear Rush,

It has been a year since we broke ground on our house and six months since we moved in. What a perfect time to thank you again for our home. We really love it! We came to you seeking to build a solid, compact and Earth Friendly family home. We knew most of your custom homes were grander in both scale and budget. But, you built us just the house we wanted, and you somehow managed to exceed our already high expectations.

It was a pleasure to work with you and your sub contractors. We appreciated how you all answered our questions thoroughly and patiently and made respectful suggestions for improvements. Your lighting idea for the living room made the perfect, cozy space for gathering or reading a book. The finish carpenter’s redesign of our closet doubled what we could store and organize. The framing is so square, it’s like a work of art.

The pride in workmanship is something you can see and feel inside and out. We’re so happy we chose you to build our home. Please feel free to share our contact information with others who are considering your services.
